AqueductsAqueducts are a technology that brings water from one area to another. The Romans were the first people to develop and use this technology. They would build these aqueducts from the mountain springs to the cities so that everyone could have clean, fresh water. Aqueducts were a technology that was green and it allowed the Romans to get one of the most important resources of life to their cities, even though they built their cities in dry areas. Today aqueducts are not used as commonly as the Roman sussed them, but they are used to bring water across the USA. One of the more famous aqueducts is the Los Angles aqueducts that goes from the Colorado River to the city of Los Angles. To the right is a video that will help introduce some information on aqueducts. Please continue to the rest of the cite to find more information on aqueducts.
